HOW FAR TO AUSTIN is one of Chicago's most recognized rock 'n roll acts thanks to a dynamic, high energy live set that highlights and builds upon the bands' upbeat, hook filled 8 song release "The Moment Has Arrived" - the Pioneer Press recently dubbed their unique and yet familiar sound ". . rock 'n soul, pure 'n simple".

The sextet has developed a strong following around the Midwest (and even the U.K., world renowned producer Stuart Epps noted his feeling that HOW FAR TO AUSTIN sounds like "Fleetwood Mac with soul . . . ") with a busy tour schedule and chameleon like stage show that the band adjusts to fit every performance.
