Jessica Lee

Lee has studied and performed music since age five, both as a singer and a pianist. Her musical background includes years of experience performing in blues and jazz clubs, churches and concert halls; constant study with accomplished jazz and R&B musicians such as renowned guitarist Tony Janflone, Sr. and pianist Dr. James Johnson; and classical training. She also adds a rich performance history in spiritual and gospel music to the mix, given her strong love for and faith in God. Her passion for blues and R&B, blended with her diverse background and influences, has given Jessica a unique voice and made her a welcome performer at prominent music clubs and venues nationally. Currently based in Pittsburgh, PA, Jessica has been a regular performer at such venues as Dowe’s on 9th Jazz Club, Déjà Vu Lounge, James Street Tavern (now Sassy Marie’s) and Club Café. She has also assisted many charitable organizations through her benefit concert performances. Nationally, Jessica has played at such well-known clubs as Antone’s in Austin, TX, in a wide range of music festivals, and in various concert venues to promote the release of her debut album, "Bluebird Fly,” which has enjoyed wide critical acclaim, international sales and radio play.

Jessica is currently touring nationally and focusing much of her entrepreneurial energy on co-founding a national center and foundation for the next generation of artists – the America’s Music Crossroads Center & Foundation – to promote the performance of live American Music, assist the career-acceleration of independent American musicians, and pass the art form on to the next generation through mentoring by professionals and the development of leading entertainment technologies.
